40 pictures of winter Prague

Grey sky. Short days. Long nights. Cold rains. Freezing winds. Slippery pavements. Hot wine. Magical Xmas lights. Ginger bread. Kids running in snow. Swans stretching their necks to grab a piece of bread.

WINTER is always very graphic and I love it for it. The bare trees are spreading their branches like black lines against the sky as if somebody was drawing them all over the city. The night comes early and street lights penetrate the darkness. The Vltava riverbank, old bridges and street corners and nooks are lit with bright reds, blues, and yellows.
