Vysehrad – when you want to get away from the city

Each time I walk up Vysehrad hill I feel like I am in a completely different place somewhere far from the city below. In fact the city with busy streets is just at hand and not far at all. This feels like a great escape.

Here are some pictures from our Sunday walk round Vysehrad. It was cold but absolutely lovely. Still I am looking forward very much towards spring and summer when we will be able to sit in the outdoor garden restaurants and cafes in the hot sun!
